Henry’s Fork Elementary will be conducting Preschool Child Find screenings on the south end of the district for children 3 to 5 years of age suspected of having a disability and/or developmental delay related to autism, deafness, motor skills, learning, speech, language, cognition, visual or hearing impairment, and/or other disability which may be impacting your child’s typical development. The screenings will be held between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Monday, August 19th, and Wednesday, August 21st at Henry’s Fork Elementary. Please call Martha Weatherford at 208-624-7422 to schedule an appointment. Please note that if your child is already enrolled in our preschool program or appears to be functioning and/or developing at a typical rate, they do not need to be screened.

We will start with a quick meeting in the cafeteria then parents and students will go to their child's classroom to meet the teacher and drop off school supplies. Looking forward to see you all there!

**INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONALS NEEDED* *
Fremont School District has current openings for instructional paraprofessional for the upcoming school year in classrooms across the district beginning in August.
Current openings are at Ashton Elementary, Henry's Fork Elementary, South Fremont Junior High, and North Fremont Jr/Sr High.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, ~27 hours per week.
Starting hourly rate: $13.50.

ARG! Second grade pirates stole the show at this morning's performance of PIRATES! Their final performance will be at 1:45 this afternoon.






Students at Parker-Egin knocked it out of the park! They read 200,000 more words during the 3rd quarter than they did 2nd quarter! Congratulations!!!

NATIONAL CHILD ID PROGRAM. The schools have received a limited supply of National Child ID Program kits. These kits are free to parents/guardians. Each kit contains an inkless fingerprint kit, a medical info section, a DNS section, and an applicator to help collect personal information for your child. These documents are to be stored at home by the parents/guardians to be used in an emergency. If ever needed, you can provide this information to authorities to help reunite a missing child with your family. Contact your local school to request a kit.


Tomorrow, March 26th, at 9:00 am is Kindergarten Screening at Parker-Egin Elementary. This is for all children who will turn 5 on or before September 1, 2024 who are planning on attending Parker-Egin Elementary. Thank you!

K-5 LITERACY ADOPTION MATERIALS REVIEW. On Friday, March 22, 2024, we will be hosting a review meeting for all parents and teachers to review the available curriculum resources for teaching literacy in grades K-5. The review will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in Henry's Fork Elementary in St. Anthony. Come and see some of the tools available to help our teachers teach literacy skills including reading, writing, phonics, spelling, and handwriting.
