With the retirement of Mrs. Boles and Mrs. Clay moving to Henry's Fork Elementary, the following changes have been made in who is teaching which grade here at Ashton Elementary:
Mrs. Mleynek moved from 1st grade to 4th grade.
Mrs. Turpin moved from Kindergarten to 1st grade.
Mrs. Goebel moved from 2nd grade to Kindergarten.
Mrs. Jessica Barnett moved from Henry's Fork Elementary and will teach 2nd grade.
We are excited to welcome Ms. Kira Stewart as a 1st grade teacher.
Some of these changes were made after report cards were sent home at the end of last school year with this year's teacher information. To provide clarification - Mrs. Turpin is taking Mrs. Boles' 1st grade class and Ms. Stewart is taking Mrs. Goebel's 1st grade class. Mrs. Goebel is taking Mrs. Turpin's Kindergarten class.
We are also excited to welcome Ms. Jennifer Skaggs as our new Special Education teacher, and Mrs. Rebecca Hendricks as our Music/Art/Keyboarding specialist.
